Mercedes S-Class Coupe concept to debut at Frankfurt Motor Show

The new S-Class train rolls on sans abatement. According to Germany's Auto Motor und Sport, an S Coupe concept will go on display at this year's Frankfurt show. Expect the concept to differ from the production model in flashy trimmings only; the guts of the production beast will be there.

CES: It's a digital experience

The night before the Consumer Electronics Show opens its portals to the world’s technogeeks, there is a sort of preshow called the Digital Experience! (They added that exclamation mark to the name, not us.) Still, the relatively small, ancillary consumer-technology show does set the stage for the massive CES juggernaut the next day. Officially the new concept will be shown for the first time on the evening of the Paris show, but details of the car have already started to leak out onto the internet. The concept is apparently a four-door super-saloon called Estoque, after the short sword matadors use to kill the bull at the end of a bullfight.
